Here's what I found: A filled variety of opium poppy.
Wait, I found another link in English. Your photo resembles to some of the pictures in the galerie below.
I thought it might be a double peony. How big is it? If it's lower to the ground it could be a frilly dahlia.
I have no idea, but it is Lovely!
The leaves and stems certainly look like poppies. I love the way they open up.
I took some more pictures last night of the whole plant, it sure isn't a peonie. Some kind of poppy is what I think too. I'll post more pics later. Golf in an hour. ugh! (too early to golf)

I know golf isn't your favorite thing, but I would love to give it a go. I've never had a chance to try. I would probably be terrible at it, but I would still like to try. Play for me, please!

Can't wait to see more photos of your strange plant.

oh gosh, I gave the wrong impression. I have a love hate relationship with golf. When I hit a great shot, I love it. When I duff it, I hate golf. We had a good time :)) I guess I'd rather be shooting with my camera, but I bring it to the course with me.

Posting more pics of the mystery plant.
