ohh Star Gazers...cant wait! Ours too!
Awesome set of photos hun!
I love the Gold Finches...heehee so cute!

Great work!
Star gazers should be just a couple days now, their buds are getting fat. I bet they will bloom at the same time, we are about the same distance from the equator, similar summer weather...you reckon?

I'm glad you like the pictures Pat! Thank you so much :))
Oh good! Yeah I can dig that.

It's so nice to be into them..I love the beauty in nature..and appreciate good photography!

There's so much life in your garden!

Oh Karen! These are fabulous shots and so many I like - I cannot pick a favorite! I love the bird feeders and chipper and the bee balm - OK I PICK THEM ALL! can't wait to see the star gazers!

I love the beauty in nature..and appreciate good photography!

me too! thanks :))

Yea there is! DH suggested hanging bird feeders IN the garden, I said nooooo I don't want all those birds in my flowers! A couple doves nesting is ok, and a couple chipmunks is ok...but I sure don't want a flock of redwing blackbirds or grackles digging around in there for seeds! :))
Thank you so much! I'm glad they are coming out "shareable". :))
...and i like the color of the Chipmunk shot!
Thank you! He posed for me :))
That black flower is so cool!! You have the "bestest" things between the red sunflower and a funky black flower! Once all the birds start really flocking to those feeders you are going to feel that you are in a Hitchcock movie - LOL.
Thanks Emmy! When I go to the nursery, I always look for cool, unusual flowers that come back every year!

I just filled the feeders and I've got the Hitchcock set out front now! Grackles, red wing black birds, sparrows, chickadees and finches. I saw a few woodpeckers too!

instead of just visiting your back yard, I might just pitch a tent back there and have a vacation. LOVE your kitchen garden! It is Gorgeous!
Nice when they pose for Birdwatchers.. ;-)
You are welcome to vacation here anytime, but seriously should only be during the summer. We have crazy cold weather the rest of the year!

My kitchen garden is very weedy. I want to get in there and get them, but the sunflowers and the daisies and the butterfly bush are harboring creepy crawlies. The good thing is that the plants are so big they hide the weeds! :-P
